Studies On A New H₁-Receptor Antagonist Mizolastine

The mechanisms and development of antiallergic drugs-histamine H_1-receptor antagonists were briefly reviewed in this thesis, in which Mizolastine, as a new non-sedative histamine H_1-receptor antagonist was introduced.The synthetic methods of Mizolastine were discussed and an optimized, 13- step synthetic route was chosen in the thesis. In order to low-down the cost, simplify the operating procedure, all the reaction conditions were investigated intensively. The total yield reached 12.0%.The structure of target molecule was determined by 13C-NMR, 'H-NMR, MSand lR.
