Fluorescence analysis is an important and effective spectrum analysis. People can prepare selective determination luminophore according to the object which they want to distinguish by modifying the distinctive group in fluorescent group. The change of fluorescence spectrum can be used to detect and distinguish the object. Self-assembled monolayers(SAMs) can be designed according to our demand in molecular level. It has many merits which don't exit in other methods. Now SAMs has been extensive applied in electroanalytical chemistry. But it is few reported about its application in fluorescence analysis. In this paper, we apply SAMs in fluorescence analysis. This paper includes ① Fluorescence reagent l-naphthyl-N.N'diacetate-ethylenediamine (NDAE) is synthesized. The selectivity and sensitivity of copper was efficiently enhanced in the presence of surfactant. The relative fluorescence intensity(I0/I) of the system presented a linear relationship with the concentration of copper ion in the range of 4.933 × 10-7~5.562×10-6 mol/L. The detection limit(3SD/K) is 1.480× 10-7 mol/L. ② 1-naphthyl-acetic acid(NAA) and 1-naphthyl-diacetic acid(NADA) are prepared and form SAMs by electrostatic action with DL-cysteine(Cys) monolayers on gold surface. It can detect trace amouts of copper. The detection limit is 0.2ppt. Furthermore it can easily be renewed and has good stability. ③ N-(2-boronic acid-benzyl)-1-naphthylamine(BBNA) is prepared which can detect and distinguish D-fructose between monosaccharides. The change of relative fluorescence intensity of the system presented a linear relationship with the concentration of D-fructose in the range of 3.2×10-4~ 1.0× 10-3 mol/L .The detection limit is 1.06×10-4 mol/L.④ TGA-PBA is prepared by thioglycollic acid(TGA) and phenylboronic acid(PBA).It forms a TGA-PBA /Au SAM on gold surface. And PBA form SAMs by electrostatic action with Cys monolayers on gold surface. That is called PBA/TGA/Au. The fluorescent and electrochemical characters of TGA-PBA /Au and PBA/TGA/Au are studied. They can apply in distinguish saccharide.
