As a waste, the harml. of waste rock had been paid, great attention .On the conduct of the government policy, scientists in some departments had done lots of researches and they had found methods to use waste rock. However these methods were not better than disposing waste directly in the colliery. The purpose of this subject was solving the problem of separation on working face .It can provide feasible source for separating coal and waste and some data for the choice of machineBy researching the characteristics of waste rock and charcoal, I found a way to separate irregular waste rock from charcoal .By researching the strength of the irregular rock, got a strength equation for it and decided the feasibility by contrasting the regular assaying with the irregular assaying .In addition, using the theory of statistics, I can decide the suitable number of stylebook to ensure the feasibility of the experiment. The subject interpreted the feasibility of crash and separating of rock and charcoal by doing a lot of experiments. It also interpreted the fluctuation of a single sample and the stability of all the samples. The strength of a single Waste rock and charcoal was more fluctuated, but on the whole it trends to stable. On the aspect of the energy consuming and the broken difficulty, the tensile broken was advised to be choose. In the pressive strength, shearing strength, bending strength , tensile strength of the mineral, the tensile strength is the weakest. The article analyzed the characteristic of the coal and waste when they were destructed, It also gave the whole course of the tensile broken. With a great deal of experimental data, the feasibility of separating waste from the coal directly under the earth, had been defined. A model of machine of crashing and separating was put forward. Which would offer some basic data for the future.
