The scale formation mechanism in ASP flooding has been studied, the study finds that the main scale formed is silicon scale. The condition of scale formation in ASP flooding in Daqing oil layer is given and the effective factor of scale formation is determined. The scale inhibitor for ASP system is developed in according to the characters of scale formation in ASP flooding. EDTMP and 310 combination solve the problems of scale formation in pit shaft and in oil layer in which well space is 200~300m. This combination system relieve the scale formation problem when well space is 300m and the scale inhibiting ratio can reach over 80 percent. The adsorption condition of scale inhibitor in ASP system has been discussed, scale inhibitors injection expenses are only 28 percent of the three compound fluid costs. This paper study the effect of scale inhibitor on the characters of ASP system. EDTMP and 310 combination can reduce the IFT in ASP system by a large margin and has no effect on the system viscosity and the oil flooding.
