CS-2 Catalyst's Industrial Application In 100,000T/A Propylene Polymerization

CS-2 catalyst is a global high efficiency catalyst. It is mainly used for Propylene Polymerization to replace catalyst imported. It has many good character such as high activity and the property of adjusting hydrogen. In order to promote the progress of making the catalyst in China, reducing the cost and widening the range of product, we made industrial application of CS-2 catalyst. In the progress of prep polymerization, polymerization, evaporation and dehydration of Propylene equipment, we observe the adaptability and interrelated technological condition of CS-2 catalyst; compare the CS-2 catalyst with catalyst imported ; evaluate the activity, the property of adjusting hydrogen of CS-2 catalyst; make use of CS-2 catalyst to exploit and produce new brand of product. We test the product in the authoritative institution and predict the economical benefit. Under the good condition of our equipment, we made the industrial application of CS-2 catalyst in daqing petrochemical company in April, 2002. We produce 80, 000 ton product that have four types including seven brands. Among them, we exploit new product such as BOPP-Dland PD50P. Furthermore, we obtain the satisfying result and conclude that CS-2 catalyst can replace catalyst imported and be used in our equipment for a long time. Its application brings out good economical and social benefit. Moreover, we realize the goal that leading catalyst can be made in China and replace entirely catalyst imported in per year 100, 000 ton Propylene equipment.
