For a long time, the study on molybdenum wire doped with K, Al, Si and molybdenum wire doped with rare earth oxide has drawn extensive attention. By now, the research has been mature on enhancing the recrystallization temperature and mechanics performance of molybdenum wire in order to prolong its life span and enlarge its employ boundary by doping method. Some of the doped molybdenum wire has been manufactured. However, molybdenum wire multi-doped with K, Al, Si and rare earth oxide has not been studied yet. In order to further enhance the recrystallization temperature of molybdenum wire and improve its microstructure and properties, molybdenum wire doped with K, Al, Si; molybdenum wire doped with rare earth oxide and molybdenum wire multi-doped with K, Al, Si and rare earth oxide are investigated. The mechanism of doped molybdenum wire is analyzed and proved.In this article, molybdenum wire multi-doped with La2O3 and K, Al, Si , molybdenum wire doped with K, Al, Si and molybdenum wire doped with La2O3 or Y2O3 are analyzed by DSC, Hot-draw, SEM, Optical Microscope, Micro-hardness, X-Ray and TEM. It is found that multi-doped molybdenum wire is better at elevating the recrystallization temperature and improving the micro-structure and mechanic properties after recrystallization than molybdenum wire doped with K, Al, Si. The grains of multi-doped molybdenum wire are still long and narrow after heated at 1873K. Moreover, the falling rate of its microhardness is minished. Molybdenum wire doped with La2O3 is better at enhancing mechanic properties and microstructure than molybdenum wire doped with Y2O3. Furthermore, La2O3 particles are easier to diffuse to the grains boundary than Y2O3 particles under high temperature.The fruit of this research has been successfully employed in Zigong 764 manufactory. A series of doped molybdenum wire has been manufactured. The rate of eligible doped molybdenum strip reach 99%, and eligible doped molybdenum wire reach 88%. The manufactory can yield 20T doped molybdenum wire annually...
