| With the extensive use of computer, CAD technology has been widely used and been inverted into productive powers in all industries. Its utility in enterprise shortens the design cycle of product and improves enterprises' competitive power in market. However the secondary development of CAD lagged severely its extensive use. Against those abnormal phenomena, based on expert knowledge, a CAD system on camshaft mold design and foundry tools design was exploited.According to the characteristic of secondary development, the theory, method of parameterization design and the represent and application of knowledge during CAD design was intensively studied, also the selection of exploitation tools and integrated exploitation platform was discussed and researched. On these bases, using the technology of design parameterization ^ functional modularization, a secondary integrated developing platform which was developed by Object ARX, VC++, SQL Server was brought about.By the study and analysis on mold design and foundry tools design characteristic of camshaft cast, the main treatment process and overall structure of CAD system about camshaft mold design and foundry tools design were set. Combining practicable requirement, the thesis introduces the functions of all branch systems andthe relation between them. Which has guiding meaning to accomplish the CADsystem.On the base of analyzing the mold design characteristic of camshaft cast, with the development method of software modularization and parameterization, the thesis finished the designs on mold design of camshaft cast which consisted of parts CAD, cast CAD, running system CAD, chill CAD and determining of mold joint. On the basis of theory of expert knowledge, the paper specifically analyzed the rules of determining of mold joint and knowledge, and applied the rules in the system exploitation. When the angle between inlet cam and exhaust cam ≤20° , this software finished the optimized automatic choice, which had commonality and intelligent characteristics and satisfy the requirement of production..Based on determining of mold joint, the thesis finished the structure optimization design of chill, and introduced the process of optimization in detail. When the angle between inlet cam and exhaust cam ≤20° , the design of chill have commonality as determining of mold joint.Against varied process requirement (chilling, heat hardening), the thesis finished the design of model and pattern plate, introduced two types of design methods-integral type and combined type, analyzed the design methods of topping chill and postposition chill in detail on chilling. And based on the model design, finished the 3D model building of pattern plate. When the angle between inlet cam and exhaust cam ≤20° , the design of chill model have commonality.The system consists of all designs of camshaft cast mold design and foundry tools design, which have strong completeness and systematicness. The application of exploitation thought to cast engineers and the use of cast knowledge not only was convenient for the operation and utilization of cast workers, but also made the system have the characteristics of profession -, practicality and customization which were tested by the procedure of design and analyze . |
