This thesis consists of two parts.First part:Progress in esterification under microwave irradiationMicrowave is used more and more frequently in organic synthesis in recent years. Compared with traditional methods, this new method is more convenient and easily controlled. A great many of organic reactions can be carried out in higher yields, shorter time or milder conditions under microwave irradiation. It can even set off some reactions, which cannot be carried out under traditional conditions. The application of microwave in organic synthesis in recent years has been reviewed.Second part: Studies on the Condensation and Esterification under Microwave orUltrasound Irradiation2. 1 Synthesis of benzoin under ultrasound irradiationBenzaldehyde occurs benzoin condensation under ultrasound irradiation to obtain photosensitizer benzoicn in good yield (85%). It is a convenient method to synthesizebenzoin.2.2 An efficient procedure for acetylation of phenols under microwave irradiation.The acetylation of phenols with acetic anhydride has been carried out in good yields (75-99%) under microwave irradiation. The catalyst is p-toluenesulfonic acid.2.3 synthesis of - indole derivation under ultrasound irradiationOne-pot P -indole derivative were synthesized under ultrasound irradiation, the convenient synthetic method not only affords a higher yield (73-97%), but also takes shorter time(20min-1h), and is moderated to environments .
