Great quantity water is used in industry and agriculture to get products, a part of it becomes the ingredient of the finished products, and the majority becomes sewage. Having gotten much money, people found that they have no water for drinking. For the development of civil economy and the improvement of living conditions, it is very important to strengthen water treatment technology and to ensure supply water safeguard.The Pretreatment of Micro-Polluted Source Water by Biological Contact Oxidation combined with The Multifunctional Device for Lifting Water and Aeration were advised as Technology of Drinking Water Safeguard for Northern China. Biological Contact Oxidation is discussed Technology integrality. Analyzing the regularity of water parameters, it comes to a conclusion that Biological Contact Oxidation is an appropriate technology in Tianjin. Biological Contact Oxidation device and The Multifunctional Device for Lifting Water and Aeration were built in Tanjin Water Company.Biological organism was cultured in seven days; the removal rates of Ammonia-N and CODMn were 50-80% and 10%~15%. During the process, it was 18-23℃Nearly half one year's research showed that the process had a good purification effect on micro-polluted source water. Removal rates of Ammonia-N, CODMn, Turbidity, Total Fe and Algae were 40-70%, 10-15%, 10-25%, 20~80%and 15-30% as it was 10-25℃.pH of water fell appreciably when it passed through the Biological Contact Oxidation device.The experimentation showed that the removal rates of water parameters went up when HRT ascended. HRT was suggested 1.0~1.5h by analyzing the regularity of the removal rates of water parameters and HRT.The picture of Biological organization taken by Microscope and the numeral camera showed that the media enwrapped by germ, true bacteria, protozoa, metazoan, and algae.The specific conclusion was brought forward in dissertation. It gave some helpful proposes for other researchers.
