Resent years, as development of our country economy, water environment pollution is becoming serious day by day. The pollution towards lakes and reservoirs had challenged again to the safety of city drinking water. The technique of onside improvement to source water quality has provided trenchancy measure for the safety of urban drinking water quality. Water-lifting Aeration is new-style technology for source water quality onsite improvement, which is aim at achieving the goal of water admixture, destroying the bed of liquid, increasing the dissolve oxygen in water, and restraining the reservoir sediments contamination. The technology of Water-lifting Aeration has been launched into practical engineering use in Jieyuan water plant of Tianjin and Fen he reservoir, and has obtained a fairly good effect. The technical system which was composed of Water-lifting Aerator ,chemical oxidation system and biology contact oxidation system has become the foreland question for discussion of source water quality improvement.The combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation was designed in the text, which was composed of Water-lifting Aeration process and chemical oxidation system organically. The experiment simulation system of the combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation was established. The following content was researched: (1) The experiment simulation system was designed, manufactured, fixed ,debugged and circulated.(2) The mixing and diffusing characteristic of the oxidant was studied in the experiment simulation system. (3) The removal effect of contamination was studied in the experiment simulation system. (4) The combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation uniting the bio-contact oxidation process was researched. Consulting the pre-chlorination process system, and taking the advantages of the technique of Water-lifting Aeration into consideration, this paper designed the system of controlling, measuring, delivering and setting free the chlorine. The liquid potassium permanganate delivering system was scheme out. The delivering systems of chlorine and potassium permanganate were united with the Water-lifting Aerator organically,to form the experiment simulation system of the combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation.The experiment simulation system was set up,debugged and circulated. The mixing and tracing experiment was carried out in the experiment simulation system.The diffusing,distributing and attenuating regular pattern of gas and liquid oxidant was researched in the experiment simulation system. The best circulating condition of the experiment simulation system was obtained.In the experiment simulation system, chlorine and potassium permanganate were used as oxidizer to pretreat the polluted surface water. The experimental results showed that the combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation was feasible and effective. Under the condition of experiment,the result of removal of contamination was better.The removal rate of ammonia-nitrogen,CODMn,UV254 were 61%,28% and 26% respectively when oxidant was potassium permanganate. When oxidant was chlorine,the removal rate of ammonia-nitrogen,CODMn,UV254 were 95%,37% and 43% respectively. The combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation could well remove volatile organic and THMs which produced in chemical oxidation process through mixing and oxygenating the water. Let the water which was oxidized to be dealed with by the united system of Water-lifting Aerator and bio-contact oxidation, we can get an advanced contamination removal result.The combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation is a kind of potential onsite pretreatment technique of source water, which can control pollution from the source and has distinct improving effect on source water quality. The combined technique of Water-lifting Aeration and chemical oxidation will undoubtedly play an important role in improving the reservoir and lake water quality and guaranteeing on the safety of drinking water in our country. It will possess a amplitude market.
