TSP (Total Suspend Particulate) samples were taken at Mountain Jinyun of Beibei District, Environment Protect Agency of Yubei District, Chongqing Academy of Environmental Science, Children Subsidiary Hospital of Yuzhong District, Environmental Protect Agency of Nan'an District, Meteorology Agency of Shapingba District, Yangjiaping high school of Jiulongpo District in July, October of year 2001 and January, April of year 2002, and analyzed for organic carbon (OC), elemental carbon (EC), inorganic elements, water-solubility ions by Elemental Analyzer, X-ray fluorescence Spectroscopy Analyzer, Ion chromatography Analyzer, respectively. Organic carbon (OC), elemental carbon (EC), inorganic elements, water-solubility ions in TSP and relationship between some components of TSP were investigated in this work. And also it discussed source apportionment of TSP by Receptor Modeling (CMB) in Chongqing. Followed is the main conclusion that thesis has got:1. Mass concentration of TSP in Chongqing main city zone seasonal variety is remarkable. The highest concentration emerges in autumn, the value is 308.7μg/m3; the lowest concentration emerges in spring, the value is 130.2μg/m3. The annual mass concentration of TSP is 217.7μg/m3. As space distribution concerned, the highest mass concentration of TSP in Jiangbei district, the value is 322.3μg/m3; the lowest mass concentration of TSP in Beibei district, the value is 44.13μg/m3. Pollution status of TSP is better than 10 years ago, however it is worse.The annual mass concentration of OC and EC is 60.84μg/m3, 11.51μg/m3, respectively. And radio of OC/EC is 5.64 great than 2,this indicate that there exists secondary pollution in Chongqing. Mass concentration of OC, EC in TSP seasonal variety is remarkable. The highest concentration of OC emerges in autumn, the value is 105.8μg/m3; the lowest concentration of OC emerges in summer, the value is 36.50μg/m3. The highest concentration of EC emerges in winter, the value is 15.10μg/m3; the lowest concentration of EC emerges in spring, the value is 9.00μg/m3. As space distribution concerned, the highest mass concentration of OC in Nan'an district, the value is 84.27μg/m3; the lowest mass concentration of OC in Beibei district, the value is 15.67μg/m3. The highest mass concentration of EC in Jiangbei district, the value is 17.37μg/m3; the lowest mass concentration of EC2. in Beibei district, the value is 3.55μg/m3.3. Mass concentration of heavy metals in TSP seasonal variety is remarkable. The contamination extent of heavy metals is great in autumn, the value mass concentration is Cr0.87μg/m3,Cu 0.07μg/m3,Zn0.98μg/m3, Pb0.29μg/m3, respectively. The contamination extent of heavy metals is little in spring, the value mass concentration is Cr0.08μg/m3,Cu0.04μg/m3,Zn0.48μg/m3,Pb0.09μg/m3,respectively. As space distribution concerned, the highest mass concentration of Cr and Pb in Shapingba district, the value is 1.49μg/m3,0.41μg/m3, respectively; the highest mass concentration of Zn and Cu in Jiangbei district, the value is 1.52μg/m3,0.11μg/m3, respectively; The highest mass concentration of in Jiulongpo district, the value is0.02μg/m3. The annual mass concentration of heavy metals is Cr0.29μg/m3, Cu0.06μg/m3, Zn0.71μg/m3, Cd0.01μg/m3, Pb0.22μg/m3, respectively. Enrichment coefficient of these heavy metals is great than 10.This indicate that the contamination of heavy metals correlate with human activities.4. Mass concentration of Na+, Cl- in TSP are low, but K+, Ca2+, NO3-, SO42- are high. Ions concentration seasonal changes are various. The highest value of ions total content is 26.25μg/m3 in Shapingba District. The lowest value of ions total content is 6.25μg/m3 in Beibei District. And radio of NO3-/SO42- is low; it indicates that air pollution matter is come from stationary pollution source. Between OC and NO3-, SO42-has better correlation, it indicates that the contamination of secondary aerosol is great.5.
