In the traditional economics, corporation is defined as"economic organization of gaining profits", as if gaining profits is the corporation's unique, ultimate target. But because of the characteristics of modern corporation the author believes that corporation is not only a economic organization, but also a social organization; it not only has economic function, but also should have social responsibility. Its production can't be the only means of gaining profits. Because the coalmine accidence, the toxic foodstuff and the bad quality of productions frequently occurre, and corporation'sproduction sometimes pollute our environments seriously, the safety and the ethicalresponsibility of its production have been the focus of attention of our society. And ina sense we can say, we don't care about what the corporation produces, but how it produces. The product must be safe and shall do no harm to those who use them; the production process must be safe and shall do no harm to those who operate on them, and during the process, the danger of polluting our environments must be reduced to minimum. It must be garanteed that production and products will do no harm to people (including consumers and employees), and also that the corporation should take the safe responsibility of practicing green running and being balanced with our nature.
