Myclobutanil is a triazole fungicide had been created in the 1980s with high efficiency and low toxicity. It is used as fungicide to treat the plant diseases caused by fungus. The preparation for myclobutanil and relative intermediates is emphatically discussed. The intermediates 2-(4-chlorophenyl)hexaneniritle, l-bromo-2-cyano-2-(4-chlorophenyl)hexane, Hydroxtmethyltriazole,l-(chloromethyl)triazole hydrochloride salt and myclobutanil are synthesized and their structure are characterized by IR and NMR.By reading a lot of literature, two methods are elaborated for the synthesis of myclobutanil. p-chlorophenylhexaneniritle and 1H-1,2, 4 triazole as row material, myclobutanil are prepared by two different routes using paraformaldehtde and dibromomethane. The excellent technological process are obtained. The process of preparation for 1 -(chloromethyl)triazole hydrochloride salt is improved by using a original solvent that not be reported. It can reduce the volatilize of hioyl chloride .Thus acid fog will be greatly weaken in the process and the consume of hioyl chloride will be reducedconsiderably. The result of experiment provide scientific basis for industrial production for myclobutanil.
