In the paper, the low heating solid state reaction of several kinds of familiar Zn(â…¡) compounds, Bi(â…¢) compounds, Al(â…¢) compounds, Fe(â…¢) compounds, Ni(â…¡) compounds with NaOH are studied, the prepared products are investigated by chemical element analysis and X-ray diffraction. Associated with the reported results of Cu(â…¡) compounds, Pb(â…¡) compounds with NaOH through the low heating solid state reaction, the rule of the solid state reaction of inorganic compounds with NaOH is concluded. The above solid state reactions are classified as two sorts: One sort is that the gained products are relevant metal oxides with the existence of proper or superfluous NaOH, which are completely different from their hydraulic reaction resultants, such as the reaction of Zn(â…¡) compounds, Bi(â…¢) compounds, Cu(â…¡) compounds and Pb(â…¡) compounds with NaOH; The other is that the obtained products are relevant metal hydroxides or hydrated oxides with the existence of superfluous NaOH, which are the same as their hydraulic reaction resultants, such as the reaction of Al(â…¢) compounds, Fe(â…¢) compounds and Ni(â…¡) compounds with NaOH. The solid state reaction mechanism of inorganic compounds with NaOH is speculated preliminarily from the following aspects such as the solid structure of inorganic compounds, the melting point of metal hydroxides and the reaction speed, and the above solid state reactions experience two steps: The first step is that the reaction of inorganic compounds with NaOH obtains metal hydroxides; The second step is that the relevant metal oxides are gained owing to the continuous reaction of metal hydroxides with NaOH.On the basis of the study of the low heating solid state reaction of the above mentioned inorganic compounds with NaOH, a method of preparing nanometer NiO through discomposing the precursor at higher temperature is built, the main factors of influencing the size of product are discussed, and the nanometer NiO particles whose average diameter are 5nm and 25nm are prepared respectively. The technology of preparing nanometer ZnO by by one-step solid state reaction at room temperature is put forward and used to have prepared nanometer ZnO particles whose average diameter is 40nm. Furthermore, the club-shaped, filamentous nanometer ZnO particles are obtained separately by adulterating growth-oriented reagents into the solid state reaction systems, which realizes to control the shape of nanometer particles.
