With the change of the market demands and the development of information technology, it's necessary and critical for the development of modern manufacturing industries to apply IT technology. Their evolvement and application are described in this paper and the latter important role in numerical control process is stressed. In view of the development situation of mechanical industry, with the numerical control machine center as a simulated object, the paper fulfills a numerical control process simulation system based on the third party graphics display platform, which realizes the simulation of NC codes and the examination on collision and interference between the cutter and workpieces attached to the machine tool. Due to its NC code examination and translation functions, this system can both create non-interference cut path and perform collision examination on the cutter and the parts in machine tools. In conclusion, this paper focuses on the modeling technology of assembly in virtual manufacturing environments, analyzes the cause of assembly error and gives its revise arithmetic, and solves the problems of low display speed and real time by the entity modeling method. This system can be widely applied in production.
