With the improvement of people's living condition, more and more attention ispaid to the indoor air quality (IAQ) in recent years. According to the EPA' study, indoor air quality is more poor than outside air quality in industrial city. At the sametime, about 90 percent of people's life is in the room. Therefore indoor air quality isdeteriorated greatly which do great harm to people's health. Contamination of indoorair by microbial pollutants has been increasingly recognized as a public healthproblem, and may be responsible for building-related illness (BRI) and sick-buildingsyndrome (SBS). Bioaerosols include fungi, bacteria, infectious diseases. Peoplesensitive to indoor environmental problems complain of a wide variety of symptomsranging from headache, fatigue, nausea, sinus congestion, to eye, nose, and throatirritations, especially in air conditioning environment. Ultraviolet germicidalirradiation has been applied as a means of air disinfections, how to use ultravioletgermicidal irradiation in HVAC system has great differences. This paper is mainlydiscussed that the Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation calculation model is created and analysisthe effectiveness of amounting the UVGI lamps in the circulation air ductwork. In the end,upper-room Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation is discussed on controlling indoor microbepollution.
