This paper firstly analyzed the distribution of organized discharge and fugitive emissions of petrochemical enterprises.Then different source intensity calculation technologies were recommended and analyzed,together with their suitable application situations.In order to study on the application of those calculation methods, two different petrochemical enterprises were monitored and the source intensity were calculated,the results were as follow:(1)In project1,H2S of delayed coke and waste water treatment unit were monitored and the Pearson correlation coefficients of H2S concentration from5th day were all under zero with other days.Besides,calculated by the ground concentration reverse calculation method, two area sources both got3abnormal points of source intensity which were higher than other points.Hence,suggestion was proposed that the average source intensity without3abnormal points be regarded as final H2S source intensity,which were0.0526kg/h and0.137kg/h respectively.(2)In project2,H2S of waste water treatment unit and total hydrocarbon from atmosphere-vacuum distillation were monitored.It was found that the Pearson correlation coefficients of two area sources were all above0.8,which meant the monitoring concentrations were highly and notable correlated. The calculated source intensity points were stable and normal.Thus the average source intensity of all points was suggested as final results,which were0.034kg/h(H2S)and1.87kg/h(total hydrocarbon).Furthermore,experiential formula for waste water treatment unit and leaking volatilizing coefficients for atmosphere-vacuum distillation were used to calculate the source intensity,respectively.The results were similar to the ground concentration reverse calculation method.(3)Four methods were used to calculate the total hydrocarbon of tank area of project1and the result was:American Petroleum Institute(API)(201.30t/a)>《Design guideline for energy conservation of petroleum depots》 formula(95.50t/a)>the ground concentration reverse calculation method(94.92t/a)>China Petroleum Chemical Corporation(CPCC)(86.73t/a).After analysis,the maximum result of 《Design guideline for energy conservation of petroleum depots》,CPCC formula and the ground concentration reverse calculation method was recommended,which was95.50t/a.Also, other methods should also be used to check on the results.The final source intensity should be determined according to the property of the project.(4)The phenomenon in which the calculation results showed a decreasing trend as the distance of the sampling line increased when using the ground concentration reverse calculation method was analyzed.
