On the base of the previous study of Cu-based shape memory alloy, selecting two sorts of heat-treating regime and changing deformation, the process of stress-indeceed martensite and the characteristic of sress-strain curve in different velocity of strain on Cu-10Al-6Mn-4Zn-0.3Zr (wt%) is studied by metallgraphicalobservation , SEM, MTS, Impact-Extension, the results show:The stress- indeceed martensite are influenced by structures. When - phase of mother-phase presents strip and is surrounded by - phase, it is easily to cause stress- indeced martensite and present the characteristic of relief and licking up each other. When mother-phase is made up of single - phase, it is not easily to observe the characteristic of relief and only in a small quantity of - phase because of relaxation of the displacement can observe it. The shape of sress-strain curve is influenced by strain-rate and structures. The shapes of sress-strain curve in different strain-rate cross each other. In addition, the shape memory effect is also related to the deformation. To curve deformation, when the strain of the outside surface of the curve roughcast attains the strain of martensite yield, the shape memory effect is maximal.
