Material is the matter base of hunan being for survive and development, and it is the landmark of human civilization. Just the using, founding and invention of material that makes human being walk out of the chaos epoch from the battle with the nature. Now people regard the info, biology and new material technology as the symbol of the new technology's revolution coming . As a new material luminescence material get the recognition more and more, with the deepen of study, the study, making and using based the luminescence spring up gradually. The rare earth element's accession brings the remarkble improve to the luminescence material that seems a bout of overturn relative to the traditional luminescence material. Thus, the rare earth luminescence material became the study focus more and more.The abundant and cheap raw material terbium and cerium are selected as the activated dose in this study, their luminescence capability and principium in the strontium aluminate are studied, The afterglow of terbium in the strontium aluminate are discussed. Cerium's luminescence in the strontium aluminate are found that is a breakthrough for inaugurate new cheaper luminescence material.In the study of terbium activate the strontium aluminate, A lot of experiment were done based the changes such as terbium,compounding temperature, reducer etc, the prime concentration of terbium and compounding temperature are confirmed, high quality green terbium actived phosphor are compounded. Each compound condition that influence the luminescence is discussed, the relation between complex's group and luminescence is pointed out. The study indicate that SrAl2O4: Tb3+ phosphor can be composed from 1250C to 1550C, the phosphor's luminance reduce and the afterglow time shorten along with the compounding temperature; The better luminance and afterglow with the better crystalloid degree; The luminescence of Tb3+ ion in the SrAl2O4 is coming from the transition of 5D4-7Fj(j=6, 5,......0) ; The afterglow is because of the electron that seizedin the trap released which integrate with the luminescence center.In the study of cerium activate the strontium aluminate, the X-ray diffraction icon and SEM photo are listed, the concentration of cerium that influence the luminescence are discussed. The study indicate that when the concentration of Ce3+ ion is propriety the complex have better green light; the emission spectrum form of Ce3+ in the stronium aluminate is band, this is the transition of Ce3+ from the low engery class to the base state of 2F5/2 and F7/2.
