It's widely present during the course of cigarette procession that many tobacco's flavoring additives have both the disadvantages of high volatility and low odor threshold. So that they can obviously short the life time of cigarette for higher volatility during the storage time and can't submit to the tobacco formula.In order to avoid the loss of flavoring additives during the heating process, enhance the flavor of the mainstream and maintain the aroma of the sidestream smoke, we synthesize some precursors complexes into capsules for load tobacco flavoring additive by physical and chemical methods. Under Smoking conditions, the precursors burst into many molecular pieces, then release the additive to reduce other volatile losses. (1) The synthesized and application of menthol microcapsulesBased on the provided experiments data on influential factors by the average radius and structure of microcapsules , we summarized such better experimental conditions. The best conditions are as following: Solicitation reagents are AIBN, temperature 60 C, 2200r/min. after 10min's modification, the concentration of AB reaches to its best values.Compared with menthol that will vanish with 6 months, menthol microcapsules can storage a year with little change, so, menthol microcapsules are an excellent precursor of tobacco flavoring additive. (2)The synthesized and application of 2-Isopropyl-3-hydroxy-3-methyl-3-pyrazinylpropionatewe contrive a new method of the synthesis of 2-Isopropyl-3-hydroxy-3-methyl-3-pyrazinylpropionate with 2-acetylpyrazine and ethyl iso-valerate. Under Smoking conditions ,the precursors are releasedwhich enhance the flavor of the mainstream smoke and improve the aroma of the sidestream smoke.The compound is detected by GC-MS, HNMR and STA449C.Under the condition of air and temperature, the precursors can lead to pyrogenation and volatilization which are adapted to be incorporated into cigarette, and which under normal smoking conditions, the precursor can release a volatile heteroaromatic flavoring constituent(2-acetylpyrazine) into cigarette smokeBecause of synthesized by the precursors of tobacco flavoring additive, it can be used to absolve the problem of the disadvantage of both high volatility and low odor threshold during the course of the process of cigarette, and also improve the quality of cigarette.
