Acetylpyrazine is a spice,which is found naturally in roasted peanuts,corn blasting,sesame oil,hazelnut,etc,and for corn,sesame,peanuts,beef and other food flavor,tobacco flavor can also be used.As a special structure,physiological activity and reactivity,acetylpyrazine has been used for synthesis of anti-bacterial,anti-malarial,anti-tumor,anti-virus and treatment of pain,epilepsy,Parkinson's disease drugs.It can also be used for synthesis of energy storage materials,photosensitive materials.This thesis can be divided into two parts:Part ?:Synthesis of acetylpyrazine.It began with o-phenylenediamine as a raw material,combined with glyoxal and generated quinoxaline ring,after potassium permanganate oxidation of quinoxaline,pyrazine dicarboxylic acid was obtained by acidification.Acetylpyrazine was obtained by decarboxylation,esterification,Claisen ester condensation,hydrolysis decarboxylation of dicarboxylic acid.The reaction conditions of each step were improved and we have found a suitable industrial production route for acetylpyrazine.Part ?:Acetylpyrazine process development.We have designed a production process to produce 500 tons of acetylpyrazine annually.Material balance,heat balance,selection of equipments,waste treatment and emission of acetylpyrazine and its intermediates have been calculated and designed.
