Studies Of The Optimum Impregnation Variables And The Impregnator Of The Mechanical Pulp Of Rice Straw

With the rapid development of our national economy in recent years, there is a great demand in paper and board in china's market, yet the production of domestic pulp lag far behind the development of industry of papermaking. In addition, as our country's lumber materials are of huge shortage, non-lumber materials and second fiber play a main role in our country's industry of papermaking currently. But the traditional methods of non-lumber materials pulping have resulted in the serious pollution to the environment. With the people's further recognition to environmental protection, and government carrying out sustainable development strategy of environment , materials , economy and society, it is important to strengthen the research and development of low pollution pulping technology of non-lumber materials to make full use of our country's rich non-lumber materials.The paper included two parts: the experiment and the design of the impregnator.The performance of mechanical pulp of rice straw was analyzed through bursting index, tensile index and loop-crush index in the part of the experiment, then discussed the affection that impregnating time and impregnating temperature, grinding density cause to the performance of mechanical pulp of rice straw, finally the optimum variables of the impregnation were got. Compared with the technological criteria of corrugated raw board, mechanical pulp of rice straw and wastepaper pulp mixtures in a certain ratio can reach the technological criteria of C grade's or D grade's corrugated raw board. So the mechanical pulp of rice straw is of extensive prospect.Based on the optimum variables of the impregnation got in the experiment, the daily design production of mechanical pulp of rice straw and the special characters of rice straw compared with the wood chip, the design of impregnator was finished by the process including calculation, structure design , check, selecting type etc.The paper explored how to use rice straw to pulp under the condition that no chemical medicine was added, which is forward-looking and creative. It develop a new path for make full use of our country's rich rice straw.
