With the past study and practices of surrounding rock stability, on the basis of the nondestructive testing technology of working load of bolts, a new method of testing the stability of surrounding rock is put forward in this paper, the stability of surrounding rock can be valued by making use of the working load of bolts which can be tested nondestructively.The mechanics model and distortion model are made from the reciprocity mechanism of laneway surrounding rock and bolts , the distortion model can fetch up the defect of theory of elasticity and rheology which only can analyse the elastic and rheology distortion, the entirely process of surrounding rock distortion and the reciprocity of surrounding rock and bolts can be analysed by the two models combined.With the past study of nondestructive testing of bolt ,the power function nexus of working load and libration frequency which was validated by locale testing and experiment is educed , the nexus of working load andlibration frequency can help us valued the stability of laneway in time by testing the working load of bolt in the similar surrounding.This papers takes liangdu coal mine hexigou well as simuliton entity, through the experiment ,the distributing disciplinarian of surrounding rock stress and surrounding rock distortion in the different terra stress were studied, so the key point inflecting the stability of surrounding rock can be ascertained and the bolts which can test the stress were layed correctly. The relation of working load of bolts and the stress and distortion of surrounding rock in different surrounding rock is studied in order to open out the disciplinarian of surrounding stress acting when the bolts work correctly. The correlation of working load of bolts and the different critical states of surrounding rocks was studied.In brief, no matter from theory analyzing and experiment testing, the method can valued the stability of surrounding rock immediately duly. It has important significance for laneway reinforcing immediately. It has great value of spreading usage.
