Four kinds of steady reverse microemulsion systems(Span80-Tween80 / liquid paraffin / AM-H2O system, Span80-Tween80 / isooctane system, Span80-Tween80 / cyclohexane / AM-H2O system and Span80-Tween80 / xylene /AM-H2Osystem) have been prepared. The influences of salt-out effect of electrolyte on the stability of each system have been studied respectively. The changes of the relative molecule weight of PAM in the Span80-Tween80 / liquid paraffin / AM-H2O system and Span80 -Tween80 / cyclohexane / AM-H2O system caused by different polymerization conditions have been studied. The result shows:(1) The optimal HLB Value for the preparation of stable microemulsion is between 7.0-9.0 .(2)The salt-out effect of electrolyte can enhance the stability of system.(3) The higher of the concentration of AM, the better of the stability of system, and the wider of the forming region of microemulsion.
