Research On The Skeleton Of Expert System For Sintering Process Control

Expert system for sintering process control is a very important field in the process automation in sinter process. If an expert system for sintering process control is developed for every sinter plant and for every sinter workshop, amount of human resources, material resources, financials and time are cost consequentially. So, in this study skeleton tool of sinter expert system is developed, which is used to develop expert system for sintering process in sinter industry in our country. And it will gain great economic benefits.In this paper, feature and structure of the expert system for sintering process are researched. Based on Microsoft Windows platform using Visual C++ as the developing tool, the expert system is established by the method of object-oriented, and the skeleton tool of expert system for sintering process is constructed by the method of defining expert system classes.Based on the feature of the expert system that the knowledge base and the inference engine are separate the shell function and the program function of the skeleton tool is researched.The method of constructing knowledge base of expert system for sintering process is researched. Database technology is used in knowledge organizing form. The knowledge base is realized by database technology. The database technology can realize the function of knowledge base well and can administer and maintain knowledge base high efficiently. ADO is used to connect the practical database and the expert system is used online.The inference feature of expert system for sintering process accords with common feature of forward inference. So the default inference orientation of skeleton tool is forward. The user can choose backward inference if he wants.The application module of skeleton tool offers the platform to build prototype system. If the knowledge base and inference engine are loaded, the prototype expert system is formed. Based on the prototype system theknowledge engineer can test the system and make the knowledge base more consummate.The expert system class module of skeleton tool offers the program code of class that is used to develop the expert system. Developing work is done based on prototype system by using the program code of class, which makes it very convenient to develop expert system for sintering process.
