As is an application field combining textile and information technology about expert system, a large number of textile knowledge are accumulated, the manner of thinking of textile expert is simulated according to scientific inference and knowledge to solve key technical issues of textile products, raw materials, equipment, process and design. it plays important role in guidance and optimizes in development of new products and application of new technology. Especially about cashmere industry of Inner Mongolia, it has resource-rich cashmere and enormous processing capacity, however the development of enterprise severely affected by the reason of numerous enterprises, disorderly competition and low value of products. So it is significant to establish Cashmere Product Collaborative Development System Based on Network and develop Cashmere Product Expert System in development and information manages of products.In the thesis, the purpose, significance and status of development of Cashmere Product Expert System is elaborated, the research content of Cashmere Product Expert System is proposed, the concept, developing, and composition of expert system and basis knowledge, foundation and composition of Cashmere Product Collaborative Development System Based on Network are introduced, the relation of two system is also explained.After analyzing of production features cashmere products, the thesis introduce the foundation and composition of cashmere products expert system, research the key technology of cashmere products expert system, platform of the system was established, the technology of knowledge base and inference engine were investigated. The thesis introduces the knowledge representation of expert system, object-oriented representation method is opt to the Cashmere Products Expert System. At the end of the thesis, an actual process applied to the system, new processes were emerged through research and calculate, the similarity of these processes then be analyzed and difference of them were demonstrated. Through the contrast it can be verification that Cashmere Products Expert System could achieve design demand and instruct operating such as design and production and etc. of cashmere products.
