| This thesis is finished on the basis of study of the state's "tenth five-year" science and technology project-Research on Internet-based CNC Machine Tools Form Design and Humanized Interface Technologies and Implementation Based on Design Knowledge and User Knowledge. It focuses on the methods of form design of CMC machine tools and establishment of feature-component library in ICAID system which is used to aid engineer to do form design work of machine tools.Starting on the discussion of design thinking, this thesis analyzes two main thinking methods of form design. From the study of the process of engineer doing form design work, we compare the differences between industrial designer and engineer in design process through the research of verbal protocol experiment about machine tools form design. Based on the study of the experiment, we bring forward the idea of ICAID system framework which is suitable for aiding engineer to do form design work of CNC machine tools.From the study of style and form of CNC machine tools, this thesis discusses the creation of style and the composing of form. We analyze the influencing factors'of feature-components to the style and form of machine tools, and summarize the methods of feature-components form design. This paper brings forward the model of feature-components form design through the research on the process of CNC machine tools form design, and builds the theoretical foundation for the ICAID system basic framework.To establish high quality CNC machine tools feature-component library, we study the methods of feature-components form design, and analyze the characteristics of feature-component's form. In the thesis, we discuss the design methods of feature- components in terms of human factor, color design and logo design. These methods will provide theoretical guidance for feature-components form design and the establishment of feature-component library and color matching module in the ICAID system.Based on the deeply study of CNC machine tools form design, we establish ICAID system. This thesis illustrates the function and usage of feature-component library and color matching module, and discusses the optimizing process of form design andcolor matching of machine tools, which shows the powerful functions of them on aiding CNC machine tools form design. Finally, this thesis bring forwards the propose for the development and perfection of feature-component library on the foundation of the conclusion has been made, and probes the realization of the function of feature-component library to aid CNC machine tools form design in the future. |
