The spiral up-flow reactor is a new stand paaem reaction technique of wastewater treatment which has a mechanical leading flow system. This system hasoptimized the bio-treatment unit in the way of reaction technology.During therunning of examination,it has get good efficiency of synchronously removingnitrogen and phosphorus and has strong stability. As a new technology, there are many aspects need research further. As a new tool, the Activated Sludge Model No.2(ASM No.2)developed by the International WaterAssociation(IWA)has been available in the design, performance administration, andthe research and development of new wastewater treatment technology and process, which has been widely used in many developed countries from 1980s.However thisis underway in our country. The Spiral Up—Flow Reactor is studied in this paper, simulating predicting and optimizing it by using Activated Sludge Model No.2. Firstly the parameters which is sensitive to model and easy to measure, such asYH bH and μAUT are measured. The parameters which is senstive to model but hard tomeasure such as YAUT YPAO Kh Kx and qpp ect,is distinguished from model.Theparameters which is not sensitive to model are typical value recommended by IWA. A simulating program has been compiled by MATLAB mathematics softwareaccording to ASM No.2.The program has been used to simulate the removal of CODnitrogen and phosphorus from waste water. The simulating results from model tallywith the facts by contrasting with the measurement. The treatment effect has beenpredicted by model when the quantum and quality of influent varied. When the flowcapacity increased from 9L to 16L,the quality of effluent can also arrive at thestandard of GB 18918-2002 one level(B).When the COD nitrogen and phosphorus ofinfluent is each under 800mg/L 60mg/L and 10mg/L,the quality of effluent in SUFRsystem can also arrive at the standard of GB 18918-2002 one level(A).At the sametime, the status of different running parameters has been simulated to search beReroperaing mode. The study indicate that it Can get better quality of effluent when thevolume ratio of anaerobic reactor anoxic reactor and oxic reactor is 1s 1.75:3:4.7 intheinvariable general volume or when the reflux ratio is t 25%(reflow from anoxicreactor to anaerobic'S)and 250%(reflow from oxic reactor to anoxic's). The results of research have indicate that the simulating program of SUFRsystem based on ASM No.2 can primely simulate the activated sludge process of this III重庆大学硕士学位论文system and is a effective assistant tool for design and administration of SUFR system. It is worthy ofera-tying out a further research and application in next step.
