Based on the system theory, information theory, control theory, nonlinearity theory, modern safety theory and the characteristics of coal mine, the concepts of man factor, matter factor, energy factor, information factor, danger factor, accident factor are put forward, the occurrence mechanism of coal mine accidents are illustrated, accident model fitting for coal mine is established, fire damp explosion of coal mine is analysed with the model and the process of fire damp explosion is simulated. Based on the accident model theory, the contents and requirements of accident danger discrimination in coal mine are put forward, according to the different requirements, different discrimination methods are put forward, especially to the underlying accident factors, neutral network discrimination model is established, the formula of dangerous membership degree, the concepts of casualty (uncasualty) membership degree, catastrophe membership degree are put forward, the values of them are defined with fuzzy statistics and expert grading-analytic method, the discrimination approaches with neutral network is put forward. Based on the coal mine accident model theory , the methods of accident discrimination and the theory and method of control theory, feed-forward control, feed- back control and self- organization control of coal mine accidents are put forward. In feed-forward control, dangerous factors control, dangerous factors interaction control, catastrophe limitation control are put forward. In feed-back control, the method of red, yellow, green three-grade early warning control and feed-back control of accidents taken place are put forward, the values of red, yellow, green are defined either. In self-organization control, the method of harmony making the each subsystem develop by competition in coal mine enterprise is put forward. Based on the result of above study, the soft of coal mine accident dangerous discrimination and control application software is developed with modern network technology, ActiveX component technology and VB, ASP, SQL Server 2000 etc. software , including the subsystem of data collection on line, the subsystem of synthesis management, the subsystem of synthesis analysis and decision-making, the subsystem of real time control. The realization of design, the functions of the system and the application methods of the system are illuminated in detail.
