Aromatic compounds are easy to take place nucleophilic addition and nucleophilic substitution. On the base of the literature reported and the method of nucleophilic addition and nucleophilic substitution, the dissertation explored nucleophilic addition and nucleophilic substitution of electron-deficient benzene ring. The experiment consist of two parts :the first one research nucleophilic addition of m-dinitrobenzene, nucleophilic reagent is benzyl cyanide; the second one synthesize 2,4-dihydorxybenzophenone from 2,4-dichlorobenzophenone and NaOH. Finally we conclude the structure of the products by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR spectrum.
