Fe-B Alloy with rare-earth particles were prepared in different reduction condition in aqueous solutions, with the aim of clarifying the effect of reduction condition on the composition. The morphology of these Powders is in a nearly spherical shape with the size of 100~500nm. The XRD, TEM and XPS results show that the particles are amorphous sphere, who are make up of two parts: one is 250nm Fe-B particle, the other is Nd(BO2)3 and Nd(OH)3 . And it is also found that FeO is detected in the alloy surface, but Fe and Nd(BO2)3 are detected in the alloy bulk, which is according with the conclusion of analyzing of pH changing during the reaction Thermal stability for these alloys were studied. The study of crystallization behavior annealed using double tilted method, TEM, XRD and DTA measurements indicates that different steps in the crystallization process were taken in alloys with different composition. Three phases- a -Fe , Fe-B and Nd(BO2)3 were discovered during the crystallization process. Structure relaxation was roughly studied by DTA measurement. Studies on moisture absorption, composition uniformity and melting point for specified samples have been done respectively.
