| A series of Au/Fe(OH)s catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation . adapted by deposited coprecipitation and impregnation method (IM-1 , II). Au were supported on Fe(OH)3. These samples were characterized by XRD, XPS, BET, atom-absort-spectron and TEM. Catalytic combustion of carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, xylene were investigated on Au/Fe(OH)s and Au/Fe-PILC catalysts, respectively. In particular in Au/Fe(OH)s catalyst, Au reaching 7.10wt.% , it was found to be very active for CO, HCHO. Complete conversion temperature were 24.5℃ and 80℃, respectively. In our work, we adapted to Au acting as active species and pillar clay acting as carrier. In catalytic combustion of CO and HCHO, Au/Fe-PILC prepared by impregnation II appeared high activity well. Polyhodroypolymer of Fe entered into layer of clay, which attributed to value of d001 increasing.TEM chart showed that active Au highly dispersed on support , moreover, most of them were 2-5nm. The results of XPS implied that Au5d electrons partly flowed into Fe3d orbits or 6s orbits itself, which resulted in the bonding energies of Au4f increasing, while the bonding energies of Fe2p decreasing. Furthermore, we found that transmission Au5+ was active species. There were interaction between active species Au and support. |
