Rolling pressure and rolling torque are important technical parameters in rolling course. They play an important role in establishing depression regulation, analysis of load in working procedure, checkage of equipments' intensity and so on. Because deformation of rolling piece in roll groove is uneven three-dimensional deformation, mastery is difficult, and the theorical research on rolling pressure model lacks. Prediction models of rolling pressure are mostly experiential in practice, these models have low precosion and relatively big error.The design and optimization methods of sensor of all kinds of rod mills are researched in this paper; Combining rod factort of Shui Cheng iron and steel Co. and plate factory of Shao Shan iron and steel Co. write a gather real-time data system; on the basis of the statistical analysis of measuring data, using analyse tools of Matlab, has set up the theory-counting mathematics model.Combining the design priciples of elastic component and real station, design a suitable reality sensors, further more the sensors have good repeat capability and linearity.The gather real-tune data system is close to produce reality, and applying to produce reality. This software is programmed by Visual Basic 6.0, the system can realize the data storage, show, classifying, inquring, comparable analyse and establishing model etes.Settle the data measured, and regress non-linearly by some kinds of mathematics model. By comparing the result of measured and calculation by theory-counting mathematics model, choose the model most close to the reality. So the models that are chosen have relatively high practical value.
