How to use the refuse landfill leachate to bring up actived sludge had been studied first. It found that we need accede to grape sugar and phosphatic, and it could satisfy actived sludge's perfect alimentation requirement. When it was BOD:N:P=100:5:1, we could bring up the better actived sludge. The finer actived sludge which been trained on the low temperature (ordinary actived sludge process ) couldn't better remove COD. BOD and ammonia-nirtogen, it could the best achieve 40 %. 59%. 13%. It also found that we could easily bring up the finer actived sludge on the high temperature, and these showed that the temperature was a important condition to train the actived sludge. The treatment of municipal refuse landfill leachate by the system of MBR(Membrane Biological reactor ). PACT(Biological Activated Carbon Treatment Process ) and MBR-PACT was studied in this thesis. During the experiment, the ranges of COD. BOD and ammonia-nirtogen in the influent were 1129- 1142mg/K 476-480 mg/K 1129- 1144 mg/1, respectively. The removals of COD. BOD and ammonia-nitrogen of the system of MBR at an HRT of 1 Oh achieved 59%, 67%, 53%, respectively. The effluent COD, BOD and ammonia-nitrogen ranged 410-591 mg/K 116-243 mg/1. 486?668 mg/1, respectively; The removals of COD. BOD and ammonia-nitrogen of the system of PACT at an HRT of lOh achieved 54%, 63%, 41%, respectively. The effluent COD. BOD and ammonia-nitrogen ranged 513?568mg/K 157-358 mg/K 578-797mg/l, respectively; The removals of COD. BOD and ammonia-nitrogen of the system of MBR-PAC at an HRT of lOh achieved 70%, 85%, 65%, respectively. The effluent COD, BOD and ammonia-nitrogen ranged 319-423mg/l> 72-96 mg/l/ 316-543 mg/1, respectively. The experiment showed that the system of MBR-PAC had a great removal of most pollutant in landfill leachate. The main factors effect on performance of MBR-PAC reactors about the removal of organic substance were investigated, such as temperature, HRTs, strength of influent, OLRs and pH. The results showed that the MBR-PAC system had excellent removal of biodegradable organic substance. However, there was a limited concentration of organic substance in the effluent of biochemical treatment because of non-biodegradation of landfill leachate. The Mechanism had been studied about the more Profound membrane treatment-reverse osmosis because COD of effluent from the MBR-PAC system was still high, and the Exhausted water can achieved Exhausted Standard by reverse osmosis's treating.
