Landfill leachate, organic pollution load is high and contaminants is extremely complex, is the most important end of the pollution source in the garbage disposal. The water quality for the main characteristics of high concentration of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen, carbon and nitrogen ratio imbalance, the treatment is difficulty. Since the 90’s of last century, for leachate pollutant control special standard is put forward after the treatment process continually updated research. However, subject to the investment and technology condition, the effluent refractory organic matter and total nitrogen concentration has been difficult to get effective control, and treatment secondary pollution in the process of becoming a difficult problem of technology development.At present, domestic and foreign treatment of landfill leachate technological process through biochemical process as the main body, with a certain depth processing technology.(A/O)2 combined membrane bioreactor technology and reverse osmosis with leachate treatment is the new technology standard first application in the domestic. This technology has been applied in Guangdong Heyuan, Zhaoqing and other landfill leachate treatment project, achieved considerable economic, social and environmental benefits.Through the long-term in the field investigation in Heyuan, Zhaoqing and other landfill leachate treatment project, analysis the process of the system, follow up the daily operation and process data recording, analysis treatment effect of the debugging process system and existing problems. And come to the conclusions as follows:(1)Selection of membrane for the treatment of landfill leachate, the reverse osmosis membrane Binet membrane can ensure the effluent total nitrogen discharge.(2) The denitrification efficiency can be improved by increasing the reflux of nitrate and controlling the flow rate of the ultrafiltration.(3)(A/O)2 combined membrane bioreactor technology and reverse osmosis with leachate treatment can effectively protect the water standard, is the current leachate treatment is more suitable process route.(4) The running cost of the waste leachate treatment in different treatment scale is about 40- 60 yuan / ton.
