The flotation separation and bacterial leaching of No. 92 ore in Dachang is investgeted in this research. The first step is the flotation of the three pure minerals, named amesonite, marmatite and pyrrhppite, as to know how the useful part is separated from the ore. The second step is the bioleaching of the three pure minerals so as to know how they are leached by bacteria. The third step is the flotation of the actual ore. The last one is the bacterial leaching of actual ore and the zinc concentrates in column and shaken flasks. In the end, the mechanism of bacterial leaching of marmatite is discussed.Amesonite can be floated when the value of pulp is from 2 to 11. Marmatite can be floated when the value of pulp is from 3 to 7. Pyrrhppite can not be floated. Floatation of the mixture of the three minerals shows that using proper collectors and inhibition reagents, the separation of zinc (sulfur) and lead (antimony) is easily done.Amesonite can not be leached by bacteria. Pyrrhppite can be leached by bacteria. And it can also use as the culture of bacteria. Use proper bacteria, the bacterial leaching of marmatite can be done. Use the four kinds of bacteria, named pyrrhppite-based bacteria, mixture-based bacteria, sulfur-based bacteria, 9K-based bacteria, the pyrrhppite-based bacteria has the best result,while the sulfur-based bacteria has the worstresult.Zinc of No. 92 ore can be bioleached in shaken flasks, while not in column. The marmatite concentrates can be bioleached. Numbers of the bacteria, concentrate of the pulp and floatation reagents are the three main factors in bioleaching.In theory, we can conclude a new process of No. 92 ore- the combination of flotation separation and the bacterial leaching - is accessible. The separation of zinc (sulfur) and lead (antimony) in ore was done by floatation. And the result is lead concentrates and marmatite concentrates. Marmatite concentrates is bioleached so as zinc is separated from sulfur. Zinc is in the leaching solution. Ratio of lead and antimony is 80.11% and 80.04%.Ratio of zinc is 87.8%0Crystal lattice of marmatite is different from that of sphalerite, so the former is more easily bioleached than the latter. During the bioleaching of marmatite, zinc is prior to iron. Floatation reagents have effect on the bioleaching because they have toxicity on the bacteria.By this research, we can conclude a new process of No. 92 ore- the combination of flotation separation and the bacterial leaching - is accessible.
