Light oil pre-reforming technology means the technical process that steam changes and creats rich-methane gas as the material of light oil and light hydrocarbons under the condition of low temperature, low ratio of water to carbon and high airspeed. Pre-reforming technology is used for making hydrogen and compound ammonia units as means of increasing production, improving efficiency and resolving the running sets bottle-neck. The thesis established the research project of pre-reforming catalyst and its application. It combined the technical actuality of making hydrogen units, the existing bottle-necks and the demand of expanding change of Baling Branch Company, Sinopec.The thesis analysed the mechanism of preliminary conversion and the function of compositions used in the catalytic reaction, And six kinds of supporter systems of catalysts were designed out by using nickel as active composition and SiO2 ,AL203,MgO, or KAS as carrier, The valuation experiment showed that the pre-reforming catalyst of Ni-MgO/diatomite -alumina system was preferred .Therefore, saw about pre-reforming reaction influence factors and technical conditions, optimized the content of active composition and made four kinds of catalysts with different nickel contents, and the contrast tests were done under the same technical condition. The result proved that the synthesis performance of Y603 catalyst is the best. A long periods running estimate and devastating test showed that Y603 exceeds G1-80 in activity and physical parameter. Via production practice, It is proved that Y603 pre-reforming catalyst can meet directly the demand of industrial production.At the base of seeing about pre-reforming reaction influence factors and technical conditions, combining production fact of making hydrogen unit ,it confirmed the operating condition of pre-reforming industy yield.:the reaction pressure is 3.0Mpa, the ratio of hydrogen to light oil is 100-200,the intake temperature is 420-450癈 , the ratio of steam to carbon is 1.5-2.5,the liquid airspeed is 1.0-l.5h-1.According to the hydrogen unit flow specialty and enlargement ability in Baling Branch Company ,Sinopec. we designed a set of plan pre-reforming process and two different kinds of catalyst's activationIIreductive flow. After using pre-reforming technology in hydrogen unit, the production load is improved by 20% with distinct saving energy. Therefore the benefits in economy and society are remarkable, its extending foreground is roomy .
