The Research Of Low-Pressure Natural Gas Measurement System

With the application of microcomputer, the measurement and computation technology of natural gas changes greatly. The temperature, the difference of pressure and static pressure etc. inside the natural gas transport pipe may be collected by microcomputer, so the flux may be worked out by the above parameters. The designed measurement system can measure the difference pressure,the static pressure and the temperature; the tested data and the computed results are printed automatically. Not only it decreases the working strength and increases the measure precision and efficiency; but also it makes the productivity go up several times. With the application of microcomputer there is very important operation significance for the development of the natural gas flux measurement. So the artificial errors are eliminated. The design realizes the natural gas flux auto-measure. The last edition of Visual Basic is used to finish the interface in the design. So the visual and simplification are showed in the measurement. In the measurement system, we use Annubar flow meter that is made by RoseMount company of USA as difference pressure flow sensor to measure the natural gas volume, pressure and temperature in the working condition. Thus the precision and accuracy of the measurement data are ensured. and the errors fit to the requirement of the system. As the data are collected in real-time, we use IPC9488 optical partition 12 digits and 32 routes A/D data collection board that is common used in the industrial control. The board is one of universal I/O template in the industrial control machine and completely compatible with electric characteristic and engine capability of the standard IPC Bus.The measurement system has normally worked at a natural gas company Xing-51 station in Daqing. The effect fits the requirement of the system design perfectly, at the same time meets the demand of emergency production.
