The degassing extrusion system with melt pump and single-screw iscomposed of single-screw degassing extruder and melt pump. The systemnot only has the whole function of common single-screw degassingextruder, but also has improved the whole performance of the new system.It thrashed out the defects of narrow operating and applicability that areresulted from the venting and the fluctuation of output on single-screwdegassing extruder. In the dissertation, the research method of the academic analyzing andexperiments was used. The author has done much work and has get a lot ofachievements, which were narrated as following: The first, According to analyzing the theory of operation of the system,the author studied the balance of output of the system through the theory ofextrusion. Especially, when the IKV system was used in the first stage ofscrew, the equations were deduced, which were determined by therelationship of output and pressure of the first stage and the second stage. Second, the author studied the performance by experiments to get theconclusion that the P system was better than the common single-screwdegassing extruder in the whole performance. Third, in order to improving the performance of the system, on thebasis of the experiment carried out by the author with the degassingextrusion system with melt pump and single-screw, the author summed upthe phenomena and deduced the principle of design of degassingsingle-screw for the system. There was a blister that had the function of III北京化工大学硕士学位论文shearing and blending at the end of the first melting section of the P typescrew and a pin mixing section at the end of the second melting section. Forth, the author examined and certified that the P type screw had themore output and the better quality than the common degassing single screwby contrasting in the experiments To sum up, the quantitative and qualitative conclusions here possessescertain practicality in engineering. For example, the conclusions get fromthe system will help the engineering to learn about the work principle andperformances of system and to get the principle of design of degassingsingle –screw.
