Abstract/Summary:
Presently there are two main desulfiirization methods, the hydrogen-reducing desulfiirization and non- hydrogen-reducing desulfurization. The condition of hydrogen-reducing method is hard and it requires enormous cost of operation and great investment on equipments. Therefore the non-hydrogen-reducing method is given extensive attention. Of it oxidizing desulfurization have many advantages, the soft condition, safe and envirmental and low investment and operation cost. However, H2O2 is the main oxidant used in this method, which leads to the high cost, difficult recyle and polluted water emission.In this essay, a new catalyzing-oxidizing desulfurization method of straight-run diesel was examined. The catalysts are made of cheap raw material. In reaction condition, the catalysts can be dissolved in disel and hence the active centers separate equably. With the air used as oxidant, The catalyst can catalyze and oxidize the sulfur compounds, effecting the change of the nonpolar organic sulfur compounds in the diesel to polar organic sulfur compounds which are then taked out by a given extract. The sulfur content of the resulting straight-run diesel can meet the quality criterion of Europe II diesel(<300ppmw). After the raction the catalysts separated from disel when temperature dropped. They can be used several times after disposal. So the method not only exceed the hydrogen-reducing desulfurization in economy, but ovecome the shortcomings of H2O2 method.The oil-dissovled metallic organic salt catalysts were made by compound decomposing reaction. The mechanism of catalyzing-oxidizing desulfurization method of straight-run diesel was discussed. The lab operation and analysis method was built. The catalysts and extractants were filtered. The optimal operating conditions were found. The effect of every operating condition was examined. The recycle of catalyst was studied. The change of quality of disel before and after desulfurization was analyzed. At last, the flow of principle and technic was put up as the reference for pilot experiment.
