During the red copper Al-Mo-Si-RE multi-element penetration course , the influences of the penetrant agent and co-penetration process on penetration layer's organization and property were investigated in this paper. Anti-oxidant performance and resist wearing and tearing performance of penetration layer were go on research in this paper. And the results show as follows.After the red copper was penetrated by Al-Mo-Si-RE multi-element, the microstructure of penetration layer from external to internal are in the order of deposited layer, eutectoid layer and α solid solution, and eutectoid layer including hypereutectoid structure, eutectoid structure and sub eutectoid structure. The eutectoid layer is mainly make up of α phase and γ2 phase, and Al's quantity of γ2 phase is higher than α phase, and each phase's micro-hardness is rising with the increasing of Al quantity. The eutectoid layer's micro-hardness from external to internal is gradually decline.The penetration layer's thickness and micro-hardness are higher, while the content of aluminium iron in metal penetrant agent being 80%. And the ideal size of metal penetrant agent is 120~160. To obtain a better penetration layer's thickness and micro- hardness , the ideal content of activator (NH4Cl) is 3% .While the content of dispersant is 10%, " Al tendency " relatively high and penetration layer's thickness and micro- hardness are higher. In the three kinds of dispersant which main content is Al2O3, white alundum result to be best for the highest Al2O3 content. As the dispersant, quartz sand, mullite, magnesia, graphite all have better results than white alundum. And the ideal size of dispersant is 100-120 .As the addition agent in the metal penetrant agent, rare earth silicon iron alloy ideal content is 1.5%.The penetration layer's thickness increase with the increasing of content of Si in the metal penetrant agent.Penetration layer's thickness and micro-hardness increase with the rising of heating temperature. The thickness and hardness values appear parabola trend with the increase of temperature holding time. The penetration layer obtain a highest thickness and micro- hardness when the holding time is 20h. After the red copper was penetrated, anti-oxidant performance of penetration layer improves greatly than the red copper, and with the increase of oxidizing time, the anti-oxidant ability of every sample improving continually. Compared with red copper, the anti-oxidant performance of Al-Mo multi-element penetration has been improved by 67.25 times; Al-Mo-Si multi-element penetration has been improved by 67.85 times; and 65.78 times of Al-Mo-Si-RE multi-element penetration.Penetrated sample's resist wearing and tearing performance also improve greatly. Compared to the red copper, resist wearing and tearing performance of Al-Mo multi-element penetration has been improved by 7.73 times; Al-Mo-Si multi-element penetration has been improved by 8.38 times; and 5.44 times of Al-Mo-Si-RE multi-element penetration.
