With the development of the domestic economy and the increase of living standard, the indoor decoration has already been widespread. The indoor air pollution is serious more and more. The indoor air quality affects the health of every person directly, so it is concerned increasingly by the society. In recent years, a series of indoor air pollution control standard have been set out in our country. GB/T 18883-2002 Indoor Air Quantity Standard was announced in 2002. It is necessary to establish the monitor technique norm for this standard. This thesis presents some researches on the contents and basis of the items in the norm, such as warrant, scope, documents to be quoted, definitions, sampling, conveyance of the sample, conservation of the sample, monitoring objects, analysis method, data processing, reporting, quality assurance, safety etc.It is a fire-new realm to monitor the indoor air quantity. The indoor air is different obviously from ambient air, exhaust gas and workshop air in many respects, such as the pollutant concentration and the pollutant pervasion mode. It maybe result in the deviation to use these analysis methods directly. According to the characteristics of the indoor pollutants and the ISO standards, national standards and professional standards, which are used in the ambient air, pollutant source air , public place air and so on . The thesis has established a series of indoor air analysis methods. In this thesis, a few problems in writing the norm are also studied. The influence of the adornment material to the indoor air quantity is studied, which has been proved to be the primary reason for the indoor air pollution. Therefore, during the procedure of establishing norm, the indoor adornment material pollution should be considered sufficiently. The influence of closing time on the indoor air monitoring is studied. A conclusion has been made that the indoor air quantity should be monitored after 12 hours' closing. The influence of the outdoor pollution to the indoor environment is also studied. It is the ventilation that makes the indoor sulphur dioxide accumulated, making the indoor pollutants density near to the outdoors and decreased the indoor concentration of formaldehyde greatly. It is necessary to sample the ambient air while monitoring indoor air quantity. According to the radon measurement research, the two-steps method is the most effectively method to measure indoor radon density. This article also studied the possibility that the method of air quantity monitoring automatically is applied in the indoor environment. It can be concluded that the most applicable methods to for the indoor air measurement are the ultraviolet fluorescence method for sulphur dioxide, the chemistry fluorescence method for nitrogen dioxide, and the chemistry fluorescence method for ozone.
