The swing-gripper is an important component for the offset whose speed up to 6000r/h. One structure of the swing-grippers is composed of cam and staffs, whose dynamic capabilities directly influence orientation precision of sheet. There are many parameters working on the dynamics capabilities of swing-gripper, for example, the type of cam movement rule, the geometry parameters and the material of staffs, and the speed of framework, etc. This article combines the task offered by Qingdao RPM electronics Co., Ltd, in which theory analysis of the fixed center lapping swing-gripper and the exploitation of design & analysis are processed. Material content is as follows:(1) The pluralism vector method is adopted to carry through rigidity movement analysis by choosing several movement rules for high-speed movement.(2) The pluralism vector method and rollback method are introduced to figure out the contour, the press angle and curvature of cam after making certain the movement rule of the staff following cam. Then according to the method adopted, the program wrote with VB is for the design of swing-gripper, which can draw the cam in the Solidworks.(3) The model of swing-gripper is simulated in ADAMS and measured the angular displacement, the angular velocity, the angular acceleration and the force of the joints etc.(4) The result of the model simulated in flexibility is analysed.
