Virtual Prototyping technology is a develop method of new product and offers a digital design method for computer simulation model. These digital models, called virtual prototype, can replace physical prototype to make innovation design, test and evaluation to new product. Virtual modeling and simulating analysis are the core technology of virtual prototyping technology. Virtual modeling is the foundation of Virtual Prototyping technology. All simulating analysis is based on the virtual prototype.This paper took the Rotation-Disk Preparator as the research object. The Rotation-Disk Preparator was designed by Yunnan Tin Corporation and was applied on the production to gain good benefit. Its key movement was very complicated and its key technical index was obtained by experiment or was ameliorated in production process. So the Rotation-Disk Preparator was lack in foundation of theory.The key movement of the Rotating-Disk Preparator was analyzed by the theory of the dynamics in this paper. Its movement model was simplified on the actual situation and then its vibration equation was established and the mode of vibration was analyzed and the movement form of the Rotating-Disk Preparator was gotten. Virtual models of all parts of the Rotating-Disk Preparator were accomplished with the parametric feature modeling technology and virtual models of all parts were achieved. And then the virtual assembly of parts and whole of the Rotating-Disk Preparator were accomplished by using virtual assembly technology. The virtual Rotating-Disk Preparator numerical model was gotten. The static model interference was tested. Finally the movement simulation was accomplished on the virtual prototype model in this paper.In this paper, a theoretical basis and guidance were provided for the design of Rotation-Disk Preparator and the establishment of parameters through dynamics research of the Rotation-Disk Preparator's suspender with application dynamics theory. And an initial theoretical basis was provided for further optimizing the design and large-scale, series production and development of new products.This paper introduced the virtual prototype technology architecture, the main content and key technologies. The application of virtual prototype technology shortened the product development cycle and reduced the development costs. The new ideas and methods were probed into for the development and innovative of beneficiation equipment. So the methods and conclusions of this research project had broad significance..
