Coal resources still play an very important role in our national economy construction, therefore reasonable exploration and utilization of coal resources is the key to keep our economy successive development. However, with the further exploitation of our national coal resources, the social and environmental problems brought forth by it become more and more serious. The earth surface sink in the exploitation of coal resources is one of the problems, and this paper mainly discusses this problem. Firstly, it introduces the influence of the mining methods usually used in our country on the sink of the earth surface, then analyses the dynamic damage law of the lying rock influenced by mining through simulation experiments and value simulation, and draws the conclusion: when the shear force between layers is above the anti-shear strength, the curve of the lower rock layer is more than that of the upper one, and this will lead to the departure of the layers, the sink of the earth surface. At the same time, this paper analyses the influence of the mining moving to the descend amount, if the coefficient of the mining moving is less than that of the critical mining moving, the amount of the earth surface is very little. Otherwise, the amount will be great. According to measuring data, we also get the linear relationship between the sink rate of the earth surface and the degree of the mining moving on the condition of very insufficiently mining moving. In order to estimate the move and transformation better on the condition of very insufficiently mining moving, we adopt the method of random density function. The method is not only clearer in physics definition, but also its accuracy is much better. At the same time, the paper also discusses the mining method and sequence under the important buildings which can be referred by the similarly questions. At last, we make a respectively analysis of the moving law of the ground of every mining area in Lu'an mine region.
