Abstract:2,4,4,trichloro-2,-hydroxydiphenylether(HD-244) is one of the most well-marked germicide and germ inhibitor. The three synthesis technologies of HD-244 are introduced and compared. The synthesis method from 2,4-dichlornitrobenzen is focally studied, this synthesis technology include forming of salt,etherification,nitro reduction,diazotization,hydrolysis five steps. The effects of processing conditions on the product recovery and quality are researched, meantime, purify method of final synthesis product is investigated. The results show that recovery of forming of salt and etherification ,nitro reduction,diazotization and hydrolysis is respectively 94.2%,93.5% and 46.9%, and total recovery of HD-244 according to 2,4-dichlorbenzophenol is over 30%, relative content of product is all over 99.80% by HPLC at the different analysis wavelengths 210nm,235nm and 254nm, product quality comes up to criterion of 2000 U.S.A pharmacopeia(USP) and 2000 Ciba, and molecular structure of the product is determinated by IR and MS.
