As people's living standards improving, people's demand for pollution-free food increase. But most districts of our country used the pesticides that treated the Botrytis cinerea were still high toxic and high residual pesticides, therefore the promotion use non-environmental damage pesticides are imperative. Propamidine as an effective and safe fungicide in the treatment of a variety of plant diseases caused by Botrytis cinerea significant, in line with the development direction of pesticides and has broad application prospects. At present, there is a question that etherification step production yield is not high in the synthesis of propamidine, phase transfer catalyst was used in this research. 1,3-bis(4-nitrilemethoxyphenoxy)propane was synthesized by etherification with 4-hydroxybenzonitrile and 1,3-dibromopropane, using tetrabutyl ammonium bromide, PEG400, cesium carbonate as catalyst respectively and anisole as solvent, and the structure of etherification product was characterized by IR. The influence of reaction temperature, reaction time, the mole ratio of 4-hydroxybenzonitrile and 1,3-dibromopropane were investigated. The best prescription was found from orthogonal test and single factor methods. High etherification production rate was obtained under the loose experimental condition when tetrabutyl ammonium bromide, PEG 400, cesium carbonate played the role of phase transfer catalyst.Tetrabutyl ammonium bromide as catalyst, the best experimental condition is: the mole ratio of 4-hydroxybenzonitrile and 1,3-dibromopropane is 2.3:1.0, reaction temperature is 60℃, reaction time is 8h, dosage of tetrabutyl ammonium bromide is 1.5g, the yield of 1,3-bis(4-nitrilemethoxyphenoxy)propane can reach 71% . PEG 400 as catalyst, the best experimental condition is: the mole ratio of 4-hydroxybenzonitrile and 1,3-dibromopropane is 2.3:1.0, reaction temperature is 60℃, reaction time is 6h, dosage of PEG 400 is 10ml, the yield of 1,3-bis(4-nitrilemethoxyphenoxy)propane can reach 72% .Cesium Carbonate as catalyst, the best experimental condition is: the mole ratio of 4-hydroxybenzonitrile and 1,3-dibromopropane is 2.3:1.0, reaction temperature is 20℃, reaction time is 8h, dosage of cesium carbonate is 1.5g, the yield of 1,3-bis(4-nitrilemethoxyphenoxy)propane can reach 72% .
