Embedded system is a kind of special application-oriented computer system. It is based on computer technology and can meet the strict requirement of function, reliability, cost, volume, and power consumption by adjusting its hardware and software. With rapid development of hardware technoloty is getting more reliable and perfect step by step. At present, embedded system has been widely used in many fields such as industrial control, traffic control, and etc, because of its high reliability, high performance, low power consumption and so on.Combined with the project research and development of embedded control system in Press Producing Artificial Diamond, and based on in-depth study on technology of embedded system, this dissertation chooses specific platform of hardware and software to research and develop the embedded control sysem in press producing artificial diamond, and expects to get good result in system reliability, security, more useful functions and precision control in temperature and pressure, The following are the main research contents of the dissertation.(1) Firstly, this dissertation outlines the development of control system in Press Producing Artificial Diamond and embedded system at present. Then give the main research of this dissertation.(2) Primarily informs the main structure of the control system in Press Producing Artificial Diamond, diamond synthesizing technique and discusses the control methods of temperature and pressure.(3) Then we argues the hardware design of the embedded control system in Press Producing Artificial Diamond. Discusses the main control board and the inspect board's hardware design, then give the details of some important parts and the reliability design.(4) The software design of this control system is discussed. Give the flow chart of the main board software design and soft design concerned with system reliability. Then discusses a design patterns for embedded systems named Time-Triggered Embedded system which is much reliable, and introduces the design process in our control system using this soft patterns. Also we present some experience in lcd programming.At last, the dissertation makes a summary of the work in the course of system development, points out what the system needs to be improved, and offers the reference for following the development work.
