Rice color sorter is a machine that can not only eliminate rice with abnormal color or surface defects, but also classify rice automatically according to the quality. It is a tipical optical-electromechanical High-Tech machine, which comprises optics, mechanics and computer science. Rice color sorter can classify and identify rice rapidly with electronic eyes, the biggest advantage is to overcome the fatigability of eyes and cut down work intensity, so the market value of rice could be elevated enormously. After analyze the development of rice color sorter, human-computer interface of the machine has been designed by using mathematical methods, embedded systems, and QT/Embedded.The main work includes three parts:Firstly, the human-computer interface is able to adapt to operation requirements of rice color sorter. According to the domestic and overseas development, critical technique and human-based level of human-computer interface, S3C2440A has been selected to be used as the CPU of this machine, and the Real-time Linux can be the the best choice for the system. Multi-functions of human-computer interface have been designed by using modular design method, such as visualization, digitalization and so on, and used LCD to be the industrial touchscreen.Secondly, since the frame structure has been established, the hardware electric circuit and software design have been introduced from practical aspect. Hardware electric circuit mainly includes electric circuit module, control module, data acquisition electric circuit, trigger circuit and peripheral circuit. Software of Linux system mainly includes establishment of cross compile circumstances, transplant of RTLinux system, development of driver, establishment of QT/Embedded interface and so on.Thirdly, the system of rice color sorter has been analyzed by using Two-way analysis of variance. According to influences of each parameter, functions of interface have been settled. The performance and stablity of system have been elevated enormously after being tested again and again. At last, the fuctions include discerning system trouble, controlling solenoid switch and monitoring system running precisely.
