Three main meshless methods: Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic method(SPH), Reproduced Kernel Particle method(RKPM), Element Free Glaerkin method(EFG) are discussed. The approximation of meshless methods, the selection of weight function, the variational form and the discrete equation, and the numerical implementation are described. The approach of boundary conditions is studied. The problem of elastic plate bending is studied in RKPM. The shape function of RKPM and the treatments of boundary condition and numerical implementation in 2-D geometry are deduced. In VC workspace developed program and use it to simulate the distortion process of plate which two ends are simply sustained when the plate is pressed. The influence of different number nodes and convergence radius to result is analyzed. Its feasibility is proved , through compare the result of RKPM with the result of theory and finite element. On the basic of elastic problem, the elastic-plastic problem is studied in RKPM. With the increment theory, the nonlinear problem is changed into linear problem. By expanding the program, make it can calculate the problem of elastic-plastic plate bending, and farther proved the RKPM's feasibility.
